Breaking news coming out of Germany today as we have recently found out that England International and Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho has agreed on a transfer to Manchester United subject to the two clubs agreeing to a transfer fee. Sancho has agreed to a 5-year contract starting at £140,000 and rising to £200,000.
Sancho is a former Manchester City youth academy player who rose to stardom at the age of 18 joining the black and yellow outfit and instantly becoming a fan favorite. Known for his dribbling ability and his direct approach Sancho has made quite the name for himself over the past two years making him one of the top young talent shows in the world.
With 30 goals in 78 appearances for Dortmund including 12 goals and 14 assists, this season Sancho has shown a level of play of much more experienced player. He hasn’t become an England regular and often stuns the English fans who don’t get to see him week in week out with just how skillful and quick he really is.
The downside to this story for any Manchester United fan is that it has been made clear by Ed Woodward that they are unwilling to pay anything higher than £50 million for the young sensation. Sancho who in my opinion is easily a £90 million player in the current footballing climate will be looking to get this deal over the line and ready for the start of next season.
