Hey guys, Tony from Toned in Entertainment here. What happens when two of pop cultures’ biggest icons, Masters of the Universe and the WWE collide? We get these awesome Walmart exclusive MASTERS OF THE WWE UNIVERSE action figures. Not only does the maker Mattel do an incredible job with this crossover but they also included a mini-comic with 4 of these action figures so we can get an idea of how these WWE Superstars obtained their new powers.
In Wave 1 there are a total of six action figures.
Triple H is the Evil Skull King of Kings
Superstar Powers: A cerebral assassin and game master who uses fear to lead.
Foreign Objects: Skull King Crown and Sledgehammer of Supremacy.
Ultimate Warrior is the Heroic Champion of WWEternia
Superstar Powers: Super strength and super intensity fueled by the universal power connecting warriors throughout the galaxy.
Foreign Objects: Ultimate energy harness and spear of champions.
Sting is the Mysterious Vigilante of Vengeance
Superstar Powers: Can blend into the shadows. Ability to drop into battle from any distance.
Foreign Objects: Scorpion claw and stinger-chucks.
Finn Balor is the Heroic Demon King
Superstar Powers: Extraordinary strength and extraordinary speed.
Foreign Objects: Terror Tendrils and Demon Armor.
The other two action figures come with the purchase of the ring. But unfortunately, they don’t come with a comic so we are left up to guess on their backstory.
John Cena is very reminiscent of He-man as he comes equipped with a battle ax and shield.
The second Triple H action figure comes with removable claws. By far the most uninspiring figure in the set.
Coming soon you can be on the lookout for Roman Reigns, Macho Man Randy Savage, Rey Mysterio and a second John Cena Masters of the Universe inspired WWE action figures coming in Wave 2.
What do you think of the wave one MASTERS OF THE WWE UNIVERSE Action Figures?
Who would you like to see in the future? Some of my picks would be Alexa Bliss as She-ra and what about a cross over between the Big Boss Man and Moss Man?
