Denver Broncos RB Melvin Gordon was arrested under the suspicion of a DUI late Tuesday night. Gordon was also speeding 25-35MPH over the speed limit. His court date is on Friday, November 13th.
Gordon just finished having his first 100 yard game of the season against the Jets. Gordon was pretty open, telling off his frustrations with the NFL after their game against New England was cancelled because of COVID-related issues.
Gordon could be facing a 2-3 game suspension from the NFL due to this arrest. A tough blow for these Broncos who have suffered enough this season due to the number of injuries they have suffered. Look for Philip Lindsay to pick up the bulk of carries if he is suspended as well as added workload for 3rd back Royce Freeman.
We will keep you up to date with the latest around this incident.
