Arturo Vidal has completed return to the Serie A as his move from Barcelona to Inter Milan has been finalised.
The Chilean international played for Juventus in first spell in Italy but will return with rivals Inter. A fee of €1 million has been agreed for the 33 year old.
Playing 96 games and scoring 11 goals for Barcelona after joining them in 2018 from Bayern Munich. ‘King Arturo’ is well known for his dominance across the midfield and fearsome defensive play, whilst still bolstering an incredible playmaking ability.
After already trading Arthur to Juventus for Pjanic and now losing both Vidal and Semedo in the same day, Barcelona are in need of some new players if they want to compete against Real this season.
However, Vidal joins and Inter side hoping to challenge Juventus for the Serie A crown this season. But this won’t be an easy task as Juventus have dominated the league for more of the decade and will not be willing to roll over.
Vidal will have medicals tomorrow as an official Inter Milan player and it is believed he will be signing a 2 year deal with the club.
Meanwhile, Inter defender Diego Godin will join Cagliari next week to make room for Vidal on the squad.
