5 Things Kane Could Do on Friday When He Returns on Smackdown

5. Announces his entry into the 2020 men’s Royal Rumble match

On WWE Backstage this past Tuesday it was announced the Big Red Machine would be making his return this coming Friday on Smackdown. Now, where does this lead to? There’s obviously a reason they’re bringing back Kane especially two weeks before the Rumble. So I expect him to announce his entry into the 2020 men’s Royal Rumble match. Another reason he could be coming back is to put over new talent. That’s another likely scenario here.

4. Helps Braun Strowman against Nakamura and Sami Zayn

It’s no secret that Kane and Strowman don’t like each other. As the two had quite a few run-ins with each other a few years ago. Strowman is currently in a feud right now with the Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura as he will face him at the Rumble in a title match. It’s very obvious Zayn is gonna get involved here. But Strowman could find himself an ally in Kane who could be in his corner at the Royal Rumble and help Strowman overcome the odds and win the title which could lead to a potential clash between the two at Wrestlemania.

3. Sides himself with Corbin, Ziggler, and Roode

This really wouldn’t be a surprise to me if they had Kane come out to help Roode in his table match against Reigns and side himself with Corbin and company. The Monday Night Messiah gained a member in Buddy Murphy Monday night on RAW. Corbin could add another man to his stable and Kane fits that role perfectly. This would more than likely mean Reigns and Usos would have to find an ally themselves, maybe someone like a returning Shane McMahon. While this could happen and wouldn’t surprise me, I just really don’t see it happening Friday.

2. Team Hell No Reunion

It’s no secret Daniel Bryan and Kane are really good friends in and outside of WWE. Right now Bryan is currently in one of the top storylines in the whole WWE right now with The Fiend Bray Wyatt who he will face at the Royal Rumble for the Universal Championship. This makes Kane’s return interesting because last September in his hometown of Knoxville The Fiend took out Kane with the mandible claw in the center of the ring on RAW. Could this lead to a Team Hell No reunion? While it makes sense since he took Kane out and now targeting Bryan Kane could very well play a big part in this storyline. With the Rumble only a  couple weeks away Kane could insert himself in the Universal title match to get revenge on Wyatt and it would be a good thing because Kane could take the pin where Bryan wouldn’t have to which would protect him. Or maybe Kane could be in Bryan’s corner.

1. Challenges the Undertaker to one final match at Wrestlemania

Kane and Undertaker who are both in their 50’s may not have many more years left, especially since Kane became the Mayor of Knox County. It’s been rumored for a week now that WWE would be returning to Saudi Arabia for their semi-annual PPV. While this could be a reason they brought Kane back let’s just hope if this match were to happen let’s hope it doesn’t take place in Saudi. Now’s the time to pull the trigger and have him challenge his kayfabe brother to one more match at Wrestlemania. This would certainly get fans more interested in the event. Now, who would win? We all know Kane and Undertaker don’t really struggle to put people over but Taker has gotten the better of Kane at Mania the last two times they faced off. Yes, you heard that right they only faced off at Mania two times and in my opinion, they need to do it one more time, this time with Kane going over.
