New England has Released WR Antonio Brown after 11 days

Just like that the AB saga continues as he is now a free agent again. The New England Patriots have released WR Antonio Brown after signing him 11 days ago.

This is a shocker and then really it’s not, as this AB saga continues throughout the 2019 season. AB has been facing a lot of scrutiny as more women are coming out accusing the All Pro WR of sexual assault. Thanks to statues of limitations one already has fallen off but he is still facing more legal issues with other accusers.

Head coach Bill Belichek walked out of a news conference after 4 minutes because of the repetitive AB questions. This has become a distraction for the New England Patriots. Both parties needed to move on. AB may be headed to the commissioners exempt list which could be another huge reason why the Patriots released him.

In his tenure with the Patriots his stat line was 4 REC/ 56 Yards/ 1 TD. There was clearly a plan to get him a ton of targets and build that production, and chemistry with QB Tom Brady.

However, that’s in the past now and with a quick snap like Thanos in Avengers, AB is dusted away from New England.
