Buffalo lets go of Shady Mccoy

Buffalo Bills have informed running back Lesean “Shady” Mccoy that he is being cut this morning.

Mccoy, 31, ran for a career-low 514 yards in 2018, and with such a cap hit that Mccoy carries it would be too much of a risk for the Bills. With rookie sensation RB Devin Singletary advancing fast in this Bills offense, Mccoy knew his days in Buffalo were numbered.

RB Frank Gore has also had success last year playing for Miami. He won’t be the feature back in Buffalo, but as a change of pace option for this Bills backfield, and a low cap hit.

Mccoy shouldn’t have any issue finding a new team to lend his services to. Maybe we will get a reunion of sorts in Philly where Mccoy started his career.
