CFB Betting Locks – Week 3

As the 3rd Saturday of College games will start up tomorrow, we had some of our College Experts give their betting locks. We are going to hear about spreads and over/under’s in this edition of Betting Locks.

Brant Meeks

Virginia -7.5 vs Florida State

Florida State has not been able to stop anyone and the Cavaliers have the offense to run it up on the Seminoles. The defense of the Cavs will be able to hold the Noles offense in check.

Maryland -6.5 at Temple

Maryland outscored their first opponent by 79 and then trounced the 23rd ranked Syracuse Orange by 43. This game is a no brainer for me that the Terrapins will win by at least 3 touchdowns.

Alabama at South Carolina Over 61.5

This seems too good to be true. Bama will score at least 50 on their own and I trust the Gamecocks to score at least 2 touchdowns in this game. I’m okay with quarterback Jake Bentley not playing.

Matt Tracht

Kentucky +9 vs Florida

Kentucky finally got a win against Florida last year. While I dont know if they make it 2 straight but Florida is overrated and I don’t see them covering on the road here.

Syracuse +28 vs Clemson

The Orange laid a dud in a trap game versus a solid Maryland team last week. #1 ranked Clemson comes into the dome for first road test of season and Cuse will be ready. The Tigers should definitely win the game but I really like the huge spread.

Texas Tech at Arizona Over 75

With the way these two teams light up a scoreboard and can’t stop others from doing so, I’d like this over at 85. At 75 where’s its at I’m licking my chops.

Blake Kendrick

Washington at Houston +9

H-Town is my home and I’m gonna represent with this pick. Go Cougars!

North Carolina State at West Virginia +7

“Take me home country roads…” love that song. Mountaineers will cover in this game.

Notre Dame vs New Mexico Over 63.5

I had a Notre Dame shirt in Junior High School. This is the game I’m most likely to watch, of these three, this weekend.
