Hunter Henry Injured
Another blow to the Chargers team that is already struggling with injuries as well as a holdout. Hunter Henry has been diagnosed with a left knee fracture on Wednesday.
The Bolts’ tight end had just recovered from an ACL injury that kept him out last season. This injury occurred on the same knee. As of now, Ian Rapoport, NFL Network Insider, has claimed that the Chargers do not plan to put Hunter Henry on IR at the moment. He is expected to miss 4-6 weeks. The timetable for return is not yet official.
Henry had a decent turnout in the Chargers season opener against Indy with 4 catches for 60 yards. This will indeed take away from the versatility that the Chargers have on offense.
