Full Gear: Moxley vs Omega Scheduled For AEW’s Next PPV

All Elite Wrestling has had 4 shows under the AEW banner…Double or Nothing, Fyter Fest and Fight For The Fallen as well as All Out. With their weekly show coming up next month on TNT, AEW is continuing to go full speed ahead and have already set up their next PPV titled AEW Full Gear. Full Gear is referring the Being The Elite episodes about how Hangman Page wasn’t in his full gear and needed to get in shape. Tickets go on sale this Friday for the show in Baltimore, Maryland and they already have made a big-time match for Full Gear:

The match we were supposed to have last Saturday at All Out, Jon Moxley vs Kenny Omega was canceled due to Moxley’s sudden MRSA elbow infection, it was replaced with an Omega vs PAC match instead, which wasn’t too bad of a replacement. Now the match is on officially at AEW Full Gear. Omega has been on quite the losing streak and Moxley has only had one match against Joey Janela. Now the two will finally be able to fight at Full Gear. Let’s break down both scenarios in which this match can go.

Omega wins, Moxley loses

AEW says that wins and losses matter. If Kenny Omega wins here, it would help him build up momentum and possibly get into the AEW Championship picture. It does damage Moxley though. He was your big-ticket acquisition from WWE, if he loses to Omega, what does that mean from Moxley’s star value. You cannot let Moxley lose and then put him in an AEW Championship Match.

Moxley wins, Omega loses

Kenny Omega cannot afford another loss. He’s only won one singles match since AEW has been around and that was defeating OWE’s CIMA. If Omega loses to Moxley you cannot put him in the AEW Championship picture unless he builds some wins. Moxley winning here does help him though because he would instantly jump to the front of the line for an AEW Championship match and while he’s still going to be IWGP United States Champion in NJPW, he’s going to be here and there so Moxley could win and then in a month, you can build up the match between whoever the champion is and Moxley.

Regardless Moxley vs Omega should be a really good match regardless and as we go Full Speed to Full Gear, what other matches will take place in Baltimore? We will find out in the coming weeks. Make sure you stay tuned to All Everything Entertainment for more AEW coverage.
