Games We Have to Look Forward in November 2019
There are a couple of interesting games coming out next month. There is one specifically, Doom Eternal, that had its release date being pushed back. Overall November is looking like a good month for gaming. So let’s take a look at the ones who have caught my attention
The first is technically two games, Pokemon Sword and Shield. Pokemon has a history of making small changes in each evolution of the game series. Sometimes the only difference between the games is the change in location and the Pokedex. Every now and then a lasting feature is introduced that makes it stand out.
With the remake done of Red and Blue, it appears the company has decided to take some chances. This gives hope that it will be drastically different than previous. So anticipation for this game is on the rise. Especially as the pictures of some unique Pokemon have come out.
What we know for sure is that it is supposed to take place in a ‘England’ like area. We have had a lot of Pacific like area’s, with the notable exception being X and Y being very France like. So if nothing else we are definitely getting a different flavor of the world coming out.
The next game is EA’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. For the first time in a while, EA is releasing a single player game. After the failure and controversial outcomes of Battlefront 1 and 2, EA needs this or they will lose the rights to Star Wars. Notable EA having a bad history of their game being broken up into DLC and loot crates. This leaves a bad taste for most gamers.
With all that being said, I am interested in this game. I am a huge Star Wars fan and love some of the original Jedi games. However, with EA’s history of cheating the buyers or milking them. I am not going to preorder this or even touch the game until it has been a month. I simply do not trust that company.
Death Stranding is the last game that catches my attention. There is a Need for Speed on the release list and even a Sonic/Mario game. Although interesting, not really sure if they will bring anything to the table that I want. Not a fan of racing and burnt out on Mario/Sonic.
Not going to dive into the story of the game. What is worth mentioning is the way it is described of the gameplay. The only way I can explain it is a movie that you control. The graphics for the game making you doubt reality, as it blends motion cap with digital editing.
Dreamers and Schemers, do you have any game coming out next month that you are interested in?
Doom Eternal was pushed back to March and Phoenix Point was pushed back to December. Otherwise they sure would be on this list.
