IT’S OFFICIAL: Rick Moranis is Coming out of Retirement for Honey I Shrunk The Kids Sequel

Rick Moranis who retired from live-action movies back in 1997 to raise his kids after the passing of his wife is officially back! He will be reprising his role as scientist Wayne Szalinsky in a brand new Honey I Shrunk The Kids sequel!

The movie centers around Gad’s character who is the son of Moranis’ Wayne Szalinski. His son is aspiring to be a great scientist like his father but accidentally shrinks the kids.

The project once thought to be headed to Disney+ is now confirmed for the big screen.

This is exciting news because Rick Moranis has had a great career in FIlm and has been missed. He starred in films such as Space Balls, Little Shop Of Horrors, both Ghostbusters movies and of course three Honey I Shrunk Movies.

After his wife passed away he didn’t want to be away from his little kids filming movies so he retired from live-action and stuck to voice over movies and TV roles. This is huge news and I for one am excited to share this news!

Are you excited to see Rick Moranis in another Honey I Shrunk movie???
