Kyler Murray is the Real Deal

While there were plenty of concerns when the Arizona Cardinals drafted Kyler Murray 1st overall, he is starting to put those worries to bed.

All last offseason after the NFL Draft many people wondered if Kyler Murray deserved to be the number one pick. We wondered about his size and his ability to adapt to the pressure of the NFL because he is not the fastest man on the field anymore. After week 11 we can see how good Murray really is, yes the Cardinals are a losing team right now but we will get into that, its more than just the quarterback.

As of right now, Murray looks like the future for Arizona. Even though the Cardinals are sitting at 3-7-1 and last in their division, they have a lot of good things to come. Every game this year the Cardinals have at least been in it, none of their losses have been major blowouts but on a team that is aging terribly, it’s gonna be hard to win games and also plan for the future. That’s why Arizona drafted Murray to hold it down on offense with David Johnson and Christian Kirk who are both very young compared to the rest of the team. This season might seem like a bust to most Cardinal fans but look at the bright side, Kyler Murray is having a very strong rookie campaign with 2,700 passing yards on 14 touchdowns and 5 interceptions with a quarterback rating of 62.5 being 6th in the league.

The Cardinals most likely will be on the come up next year in Murrays sophomore season. As long as the Cardinals make moves during free agency and draft to the teams needs this team could be looking at a playoff push. Murray seems to work well in this Kingsbury offense.
