Welcome to the second week of the NFL season. Week 1 was full of some surprises that caught Las Vegas by surprise. Here we have our NFL Writers give you their betting locks for the week. Lets see how our guy’s will project this week to play out.
Washington + 5.5 over Dallas
Dallas loses a little mojo on the road playing against a heated rival. It’s not like the Skins got blown out last week while playing in Philadelphia.
Pittsburgh -3.5 over Seattle
The Steelers can not possibly be as bad as they played Sunday night. They faced the best coach ever last week and Bill Belichick once again showed why he is the real GOAT.
Arizona at Baltimore Take the Over at 41 1/2
The Cardinal offense will start clicking with Kyler Murray at the helm. Baltimore can finally score with Flacco gone and Lamar Jackson excelling.
LA Chargers -1.5 @ Detroit
The Chargers are simply the significantly better team here. A little nervous by the fact that it’s only a 1.5 point spread. But go ahead and ride the lightning to the pay window.
Kansas City -7 @ Oakland
Even without Tyreek Hill, this Chief offensive is too much for the Raiders to keep up with. *Bonus Pick I also like the Over in this one @ 53.5
New Orleans @ LA Rams Take the Over at 52
The Much anticipated rematch is here and I expect a lot of fireworks! Go Rams!!!
Houston -9 vs Jacksonville
Jacksonville is now without Nick Foles who broke his collarbone. I don’t see Gardner Minshew being able to keep up with Deshaun Watson.
Miami +20 vs New England
In 2007, the Patriots and Tom Brady were -18.5 point road favorites against the Ravens. Spreads this big are hard to cover in the NFL and I don’t see the Patriots winning by 3 touchdowns.
Minnesota at Green Bay Take the Over with 43
Last season, the Packers and Vikings played one game that ended with 59 points and another that ended with 41. I am leading more towards the 59 and think that they go Over in points this week.
New England Patriots (-20 and rising) @ Miami Dolphins
New England has historically struggled in Miami over the last
San Francisco 49ers at Cincinnati Bengals (-1)
The Bengals looked really good in their loss in Seattle last weekend. The offense looked fresh and fun. There is a new era in Cincy and the old Marvin Lewis Bengals are gone. What really impressed me was the Bengals’ desire to throw the ball downfield as they went for a long strike to John Ross with 30 seconds before half time. The old Bengals regime would have taken a knee and played for the second half. I loved that. I loved the aggressiveness and I love the Bengals this week. Bengals win this game pretty easily.
Los Angeles Chargers at Detroit Lions Take the Under at 47
Both of these teams can score points in bunches. So, why take the under? The Chargers travel cross country for a 12:00
