Ric Flair is “The Man”-Two time WWE Hall of Famer Threatens the Company with Legal Action over use of “The Man”
In a developing story it looks as if two time WWE hall of famer Ric Flair, is going to take legal action against the WWE. He has trademarked recently trademarked “The Man” and threatened the company with a lawsuit. The name, “The Man” is now owned by Flair, as he filed with LLC on August 26, 2019.
Of course we know Becky Lynch, Raw Women’s Champion, has been using “The Man”
At first thought the idea was cool, “The Man”Becky Lynch against his daughter, Charlotte Flair.
Knowing he would get money for it, as it’s his trademark, that he’s been using it since 1981. So he sent a statement to a WWE Lawyer and here we are. Ric did mention that Charlotte is upset with him, over it.
He claims he told Triple H, he was going to take action over the trademark. This is very interesting indeed, given the relationship between Ric and Hunter.
When Lynch heard about the news she responded “I am the Man” and Flair’s response was “To Be The Man, You Gotta Beat The Man! Already Trademarked.”
There is certainly never a dull moment with Ric Flair. He is going to fight for sure. He took to TMZ with this statement.
Ric Flair always finds a way to keep relevant even in this case, where he’s trying to pad his pockets for his wife’s stability and future.
