Tyreek Hill and The Chiefs agree to a New Deal

Kansas City Chiefs and WR Tyreek Hill have reached a new 3 year deal. Hill wanted financial security and the Chiefs seemingly are willing to stick with him and this partnership even after all of the issues Hill was facing this offseason. The deal gives Hill 54 million total. 35.5 of which is guaranteed. He also got a 5.8 million dialed signing bonus. This deal makes Hill one of the highest paid in the league for his position.

Hill was facing allegations that he broke his sons arm. His girlfriend recorded an audio clip of Hill threatening to hit and attack her. Roger Goddell and the NFL conducted a full offseason investigation in which they found no conclusive evidence against Hill. Only time will tell how this will go for Hill and the Chiefs. The Chiefs structured this deal in a way that if anything furthermore happens with Hill where they can protect themselves.

Hill is coming off his most productive season thus far in the NFL. 87 REC/ 1,479 REC Yards/ 12 TD. Kansas City is really happy to have their number one weapon back. This offense just got extremely better with Hill being reinstated. Time will tell if Hill is ready to put his demons in the past and be a better person off the field.
