Week 8 NCAA Football Top 25 Rankings

Week 7 was a good one, with some significant happenings affecting the top 25 and possibly the playoffs. LSU’s offense kept rolling in it’s toughest test to date. Another good Red River Rivalry game may have cleared things up in the Big 12. If you haven’t noticed Ohio St. isn’t the only contender in the Big 10, as great defense continues to lead to victories for Penn St and Wisconsin. Other than that Alabama looked like Alabama, Clemson bounced back after their scare last week and USC’s comeback attempt fell short in South Bend against the Irish. Oh yeah, then there was Georgia’s huge upset loss at home against their 22 point underdog rivals South Carolina. The story after this weekend’s action seems to have everyone looking a few weeks ahead to the looming monster matchup between Alabama and LSU. But we know anything can happen between now and the 11/9 showdown.
