Royal Rumble Prediction & Preview Show

ICYMI: Every #1 Entrant in the Royal Rumble Ever

The road to Wrestlemania officially begins this Sunday at the Royal Rumble. The Rumble is always special due to the surprise element of it. Who will win? Will there be legends? Debuts? Call ups? Comebacks? So many questions.

This year is no different. This is the most wide-open the field has been in years. You could make a legit case for 6-8 wrestlers to win the men’s match and 4-5 women to win the women’s match.

Will we get surprises? Will CM Punk return? Edge? Ronda Rousey? You’ll have to tune into the WWE network Sunday at 4:00 pm EST.

Other than the two Rumble matches we will see the Fiend defend his Universal title against Daniel Bryan, Bayley defends her Women’s Championship against Lacey Evans and more.

ICYMI: Five Surprises that could happen at the Royal Rumble

Sheamus def Shorty G: I guess Sheamus needs someone low on the card to go over in his return. Shorty G fits the bill. This should be a good match in the ring but Sheamus will walk away with the victory. Please get Shorty G back into a tag team with Ali.

Andrade def Humberto Carillo to retain United States Title: Andrade please send Carrillo to NXT.

Roman Reigns def Baron Corbin in a Falls Count Anywhere Match: This should be the end of this feud. Expect a physical match with interference from the Usos, Dolph, and Roode. At the end of the day, Reigns will get the victory and march into the Rumble as one of the favorites to win it.

Becky Lynch def Asuka to retain Raw Women’s Title: Their match last year at the Rumble stole the show. Expect this match to do much of the same. Both women are great inside the ring and they both have done a great job selling this angle and feud. Expect Lynch to slay her demons and retain her title.

Bayley def Lacey Evans to retain Smackdown Women’s Title: Lacey has done a great job getting herself over as a face in this feud. However, she won’t walk out with the title. I’d expect some involvement from Sasha Banks in this match to help Bayley retain. Not that she needs it as she should be able to go over Lacey clean.

The Fiend def Daniel Bryan to retain Universal Title in a Strap Match: This should be a really fun match but I can’t imagine that the Fiend will lose his title here. I would love for Bryan to win the belt and go into a Wrestlemania program with Roman Reigns but I don’t think that will happen. The Fiend will retain his title. I hope the red lighting is not existant for this match.
